How the Website Traffic Rank Checker works
Type any domain and this tool looks it up in Google's Chrome User Experience Report (CrUX) popularity ranking, built from real Chrome users worldwide. You get the site's traffic-rank bucket, both globally and in your chosen country (30 countries available), so you can gauge in seconds how big a website really is.
What a popularity rank actually means
CrUX ranks origins by the total number of page views from opted-in Chrome users. For privacy, it never exposes an exact position: it places each site into a magnitude bucket (top 1K, 5K, 10K, 50K, 100K, 500K, 1M) and shuffles the order inside each bucket. Being in the "top 100K" therefore means the site is among the 100,000 most-visited on the web, not that it is exactly the 100,000th.
Global vs. country ranking
A site that misses the global top 1M can still rank well inside its own country, where the competition is smaller. That is why the country selector matters: a French shop might be nowhere globally yet sit comfortably in France's top 500K. Switch the country to see where a domain stands in each market.

What is a website traffic rank?
It is a measure of how popular a site is, based on how many real visits it gets. This tool uses Google's Chrome UX Report (CrUX), which ranks sites by the number of page views from real, opted-in Chrome users. Instead of an exact position, CrUX groups sites into magnitude buckets: top 1,000, top 5,000, top 10,000, and so on up to the top 1 million.
Why is my site "not in the list"?
The list covers the top ~1 million most-visited origins worldwide (and per country). The overwhelming majority of websites are in the long tail below that, so "not in the top 1M" is normal and simply means the site is not among the most-trafficked on the web yet.
Is this the same as Ahrefs DR or an authority score?
No. Domain Rating and authority scores measure backlinks. This traffic rank measures real-user visits from Chrome. A site can have modest backlinks but heavy traffic (or the reverse), so the two are complementary.
How accurate and fresh is it?
The data comes from the public CrUX top-lists, updated monthly. Ranks are intentionally coarse (buckets, random order inside a bucket) for privacy, so treat them as an order-of-magnitude signal, not a precise leaderboard position.
