Discover Article Explorer
Discover Article Explorer
Search 1.4M+ articles spotted in Google Discover & News, by keyword or category. See which sources and topics the feed surfaces right now, with dates and CSV export.
🇫🇷 French data only. The corpus is French-language media. English queries will return little; search in French for real results.
How this tool works
You search a corpus of more than 1.4 million articles that a monitoring service has spotted in Google Discover and Google News, by keyword or by category. Each result gives its source, category and detection date, so you can see which outlets and topics the feed is actually surfacing, a useful angle-finder before writing.
Coverage is French-language media only. Full-text search runs on article titles and descriptions; results are cached for 2 hours. Cost to the underlying API is one unit per started batch of 100 articles returned.
How the Discover Article Explorer works
Before writing about a topic, it pays to know what the Discover feed is already carrying about it: which outlets, which angles, how recently. This explorer searches a corpus of more than 1.4 million articles spotted in Google Discover and Google News, by keyword or by category, and returns each hit with its source, category and detection date.
Search, or browse by category
Type a keyword to full-text search titles and descriptions, or pick a category to list everything the feed picked up there most recently. Results carry the source and detection date, so you can spot which outlets dominate a theme and how fresh the coverage is.
An angle-finder, not a rank tracker
The explorer tells you what Discover is surfacing, not where your own article ranks. Use it to find saturated angles to avoid, source lists to study, and quiet corners of a topic worth owning.
French-language coverage
The corpus is French-language media. Searches in other languages will return little or nothing; this is a research tool for French content.
Frequently asked questions
How large is the corpus?
More than 1.4 million articles, growing by several thousand a day, from French-language media picked up in Google Discover and Google News.
Can I search in English?
You can type anything, but the corpus is French-language, so English queries will rarely match.
What is the minimum query length?
Three characters. Shorter terms are rejected to keep the search meaningful.
What does the date mean?
The detection date: when the monitoring service first saw that article in the feed, not when the outlet published it.
