Archived Version Finder
Archived Version Finder
Paste any URL — even a dead one (404). Find the latest snapshot saved in the Internet Archive, the first capture ever taken and the total number of times the page was archived, with a direct link to recover it.
How this tool works
You paste any URL, even a dead one, and the server queries the Internet Archive's CDX index for that address. It returns the very first capture ever taken, the most recent snapshot, and the total number of times the page was archived — plus a direct link to open the latest saved version in the Wayback Machine.
No key, no account: the Internet Archive index is public. The server makes the call (the archive does not send CORS headers, so the browser can't) and caches the result for 6 hours per URL.
