Google Discover Pulse
Google Discover Pulse
What the Discover feed is picking up right now: total articles detected, the last 24 hours, the biggest categories, the fastest-growing ones and the daily volume trend.
🇫🇷 French data only. Volumes, categories and trends describe the French-language Discover & News feed, not a global sample.
How this tool works
The tool reads the aggregate statistics of a live Google Discover and Google News corpus: how many articles have been detected, how many in the last 24 hours, the biggest categories, the categories growing the fastest over your chosen window, and the day-by-day publishing volume.
The corpus is French-language media only, so the categories and volumes reflect the French Discover feed rather than a global sample. Data is aggregated server-side and cached for 45 minutes.
How the Google Discover Pulse works
Discover is a moving target: what it pushes on Monday is not what it pushes on Thursday. This barometer reads the aggregate statistics of a live Discover and News corpus: total articles detected, the last 24 hours, the biggest categories, the fastest-growing ones and the day-by-day volume. You can see the shape of the feed before you plan a piece.
Categories, not keywords
The corpus is classified into thematic categories (sports, politics, tech, health, and so on). The pulse shows which are getting the most articles and which are accelerating, a useful signal for timing a piece in a busy or a quiet vertical.
Volume and rhythm
The daily distribution shows how many articles the feed picked up each day. A steady line means a stable diet; spikes flag breaking-news days when a spot is harder to win but reach is higher.
French-language coverage
The categories, volumes and trends describe the French Discover and News feed only. Use it to time French-language content; do not read it as a global Discover overview.
Frequently asked questions
Is this real-time?
Near real-time: the corpus is refreshed continuously, and the page is cached for 45 minutes to stay inside the free quota.
Which countries are covered?
None explicitly: the source is a French-language media corpus, so the picture is the French Discover and News feed.
What does "growing" mean here?
The categories whose volume rose the most over the window you select (7 to 90 days), computed on detection counts.
Can I drill into a category?
Yes. Open the Discover Article Explorer and pick that category to list the articles the feed picked up.
