Page Change Comparator
Page Change Comparator
See how any page evolved over time. We compare the latest snapshot (≈ today) against any older date you pick: the two versions render side by side, plus a clear breakdown of the content that was added and removed.
How this tool works
You paste a URL and the tool pulls every distinct content snapshot the Internet Archive holds for it (versions where the page actually changed). You pick an older date, and the latest snapshot is treated as "today": both versions render side by side in iframes, while the server fetches the raw archived HTML of each, extracts the visible text and computes what was added (green) and removed (red).
The two archived pages are framed straight from the Wayback Machine; the text diff is computed server-side because web.archive.org doesn't allow direct browser calls. Each comparison is cached for 24 hours.
